Vermiculite

Vermiculite is an industrial transformation of the mica, a very common mineral, which is properly hydrated and subjected to a sudden rise of temperature, becomes a very light and spongy material. Vermiculite has the capacity to absorb too much water and still allows the passage of air between the granules, thereby providing ventilation and moisture saturation.
