Classification of dangerous goods and their (ADR) labels.

Dangerous goods are classified into nine types of risks, which do not correspond with their danger degree but is a conventional order.
Classes 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6, are subdivided into Divisions expressed through two-digit numbers, separated by a dot or a comma; the first number identifies to the Class and the second, the variation within that Class (ex: Oxidizing is Class 5, Division 1, and is expressed as "Division 5.1 ").
The relative degree of danger posed by an article or substance, of each class or division, is expressed by the Packaging Group, using Roman numerals as follows:

Packing Group I: High danger

  • Packing Group II: Medium danger
  • Packing Group III: Low danger

Criteria have been developed for the determination of packaging groups to the following classes / divisions: 3, 4, 5.1, 6.1, 8 and some of Class 9

Temperature-controlled labels

TempDot labels show the cumulative time that a product has been exposed to a temperature higher than expected. Pulling a tab on the label is activated a dye sensitive to temperature. There are several models with different activation temperatures.
When the temperature exceeds the activation level of the dye flows through a viewfinder. The position of the dye in the display indicates how long the product has been exposed to unsafe conditions. The indicator has a measuring range up to one hour, but stopped the process as soon as you lower the activation temperature.

The low cost of dot Temp allows it adheres to the product not only during transport but indefinitely until it is necessary to monitor the storage temperature. This avoids risks, allows us to comply with regulations, saving time and money.

Advantages

  • Accumulated total measuring time: 60 min.
  • Size: 3.8cm x 1.8cm
  • Package of 50 labels
  • Low cost
  • 2 years life unopened
  • Easy to apply thanks to the adhesive back.
  • Different models with different activation temperatures
  • Show cumulative time in minutes that the product has been exposed to unsuitable conditions
